The rivers between Interlaken and the Lauterbrunnen valley carry meltwater from the Jungfrau ice fields — fast, cold, and genuinely challenging. Konrad joins every session free of charge as a certified white water guide, reads the water for you, and makes sure the run is matched to your experience level.

Three runs are available: Bönnigen for first-timers who can already handle a kayak, Wilderswil for intermediate paddlers on a technical grade-2–3 section, and the Interlaken Aare corridor for a longer grade-2 run with fast water and clean lines. Konrad recommends the right run on the day.

Rivers from the Jungfrau massif

Bönnigen

A mellower stretch on the Aare just below Interlaken. Wide, clean, grade 1–2. Perfect for first-timers already comfortable in a kayak.

Wilderswil

Grade 2–3 section of the Schwarze Lütschine below the village. Narrow gorge sections, technical lines, fast water. Best in spring snowmelt.

Interlaken Aare

Between Lake Brienz and Lake Thun. Fast, cold, and clean — the Aare at its most powerful. Konrad knows every eddy and line.
